Let’s talk Cortisol this morning… and the REAL truth about it. I have studied it intensely and the effects on the body long term for the past two years, and I feel like I need to clear some things up as I curse daily at influencers posts claiming to fix it in 5 days… take this supplement and it will be fixed…. 🤬
There has not been one HTMA test I have done on a busy mom so far that has not shown adrenal fatigue, sluggish thyroid, and most of our 4 primary minerals completely depleted.
WHY IS THIS? It is because “she” was in a state of such fight or flight and high cortisol for so long (bc we just keep pushing our bodies to the limits despite fatigue bc we have to get it done!) that our minerals that drive our bodies take a back seat which causes a ripple effect of health issues. NOW! “She” is in an extreme parasympathetic state and feels it every day. Probably getting frustrated and not understanding why her body has turned on her.
At this point, no single peptide or pill can fix this. It can take 3-6 months of mineral balancing, healing, walking, low impact workouts, vagus nerve activations, less caffeine, etc…. to heal.
Can a 5 day plan give you a jumpstart? Absolutely! But not if you are continuing to do the same cortisol inducing workouts!
And NOT if you are not aware of which mineral you are actually depleted in OR too high in that are crowding out others to address and correct!
Something else to be noted… as you rebalance your minerals, heal, add some new supplements… You CAN feel WORSE before you feel better. I have seen multiple times when someone starts Hydrate Detox for the first time and they get a little nauseous at first because your cells are finally hydrated, bad gut bacteria is finally coming out, and we are ADDING minerals you have been deficient in. The body is shifting!!
